Recycling Socks and Making Winter Warmer

The initiative of the Sustainability Committee from Vitória Terminal is a partnership with Puket, a Brazilian socks brand. Those socks that are too old to be worn, too small to the grown up kids, those pairs that are missing a sock... All of them can become blankets and make this winter warmer to people in need. The Oiltanking Vitória team collected and delivered them to Puket, so that they could be recycled into blankets that are distributed to institutions that deal with homeless people and other people in vulnerable situations. It is a costless way to help people and avoid that those socks become trash and pollute the environment. The collect point was a box located in the HSSE Office at Vitória Terminal.
