Corporate Donation by Marquard & Bahls Funds a Generator to Cool Blood Reserves
Cash Donation for Blood Bank Project
Instead of giving its employees Christmas presents, Marquard & Bahls donated 50,000 euros to the German Red Cross (DRK) in 2011. The DRK used the money to support a blood bank project in New Delhi, India, that urgently needed major infrastructure. The donations were used to buy a 320-kVA generator to ensure the power supply to cool blood reserves in case of power outages.
