Warm Blankets for Little South-African Cancer Fighters
Comfort for Cancer Fighters
On July 11, 2017, four colleagues from Oiltanking Grindrod Calulo (OTGC) visited the Albert Luthuli hospital in Durban to distribute warm blankets and gifts to 60 little cancer patients. This initiative was part of the project ‘Get Wrapped’ of the Little Fighters Cancer Trust, which OTGC supported with a 500-euro donation. The project aims to ensure that the kids staying in hospitals – which often lack decent bedding – are warm during the winter. The kids were delighted to receive their little goodie bags, which were filled with coloring books, soap bubbles, a puzzle, cards, and a snuggly blanket.
