Oiltanking Establishes “Oiltanking Partners” and Starts Initial Public Offering

Oiltanking Partners is a Master Limited Partnership recently formed as a holding company for the shares in Oiltanking Houston and Oiltanking Beaumont.

Oiltanking Partners goes public on the New York Stock Exchange, trading under the symbol “OILT.” This marks the first time in the history of Marquard & Bahls that a subsidiary is listed on a stock exchange. The decision to go public with approx. 30% of Oiltanking Houston and Oiltanking Beaumont on the stock exchange is made with the aim of better being able to exploit investment opportunities in the oil and gas logistics going forward.
