Oiltanking Employees Celebrate a Festive Sinterklaas Ceremony for Children in Need

Wishes come true – Sinterklaas Celebration

At the end of the year, when many of us celebrate the advent of Christmas or the New Year, Oiltanking employees are especially good about participating in activities that show compassion and caring for others. On November 25, 2017, Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp was delighted to host a celebration of Sinterklaas (a legendary figure based on Saint Nicholas, and the patron saint of children) for its employees and their partners and children. As last year, each child under the age of 12 received a present. The candies distributed last year to the approx. 100 children who attended also went to help other children, as the proceeds went to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation (a nonprofit foundation that helps to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, usually involving extraordinary experiences). This year, Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp supported a charity in Belgium that brings joy to terminally ill children.
