More than 200 Schoolbags for Omani Kids

As part of its efforts to be a responsible corporate citizen, Oiltanking Oman has set up a long-term project called “Wajebna,” which is the cornerstone of the company’s local Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. As part of the project, the Wajebna Team of Oiltanking Oman initiated a schoolbag donation to children from low-income and socially vulnerable families in towns near Sohar. In August 2017, a total of 216 students in Grades one to four received school bags to help them get off to a good start in the new school year. The bags were prepared and distributed by the Wajebna Team, and contained basic school materials like a lunch bag, notebooks and pencils.
