Marquard & Bahls Supports the SOS Children‘s Village in Puerto Escondido

Support of SOS Children’s Villages

In keeping with tradition, in 2015 instead of giving holiday season presents Marquard & Bahls supported an international aid project: 100,000 euros were given to the SOS Children's Village in Puerto Escondido in Panama, not far from the port city of Colon, where Oiltanking has operated a marine fuel tank terminal since 2011. The SOS Children's Village, which was completed in 2009, provides a permanent and loving home for some 90 children who receive food, toys, clothes, medical care and the opportunity to go to school. The holiday season donation will be used to cover running costs in the year ahead, ensuring that the children will continue to have a home in 2016.
