IOT Employees Donate and Engage for the Provision of School Kits
School Kit Drive
In April 2016, the corporate head office of IOT Infrastructure & Energy Services Ltd. in Mumbai, India, decided to partner with the Seva Sahayog Foundation. The intention was to join and support the School Kit Drive 2016, a project of the foundation, that aims at better access to education for underprivileged children from rural and tribal areas of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, and Goa by providing school kits.
Therefore, the school kits contained a school bag with notebooks, pencils, and a set square. Our IOT employees were invited to either donate for one or more kits, or to volunteer for assembling and distributing them. In the end, more than 20 employees supported the project and contributed to 72 school kits that could be provided to the children.
Volunteers were invited to participate in packing and distributing the schoolbags to the children.
