Why did you decide to do a dual-studies program with us?

After high school, I applied for a dual studies program, because I wanted to gain some work experience while earning my degree. As I really enjoy speaking different languages and dealing with different cultures, my applications focused on international companies. I found one in Marquard & Bahls, and I felt welcome right from the first interview. In particular, the international environment and diversity of the various business fields ultimately led me to start a dual-studies program at Marquard & Bahls.

How would you describe our company and culture?

The culture at Marquard & Bahls is very international on the one hand, and on the other it feels like a big family. Wherever you are placed, you are welcomed with open arms and everyone is very helpful. This means you always have a great workplace atmosphere and you like coming to work every day.

What do you like most about your work or training with us?

A dual-studies program at Marquard & Bahls is notable for two main characteristics: a lot of variety on the one hand, and a high degree of individual responsibility on the other. Regularly changing placements in different subsidiaries and countries ensure that it’s never boring, and you learn a lot in a short time. You are also entrusted with interesting and responsible tasks right from the start. I especially enjoyed working on fascinating and influential projects, both in Germany and internationally. This was one of the reasons that after completing my degree, I continued by career path at Marquard & Bahls, in the field of project work.
