Oiltanking Tallinn Opens for Chemicals

Oiltanking Tallinn AS in Estonia converts its terminal infrastructure to accommodate the handling and storage of chemical products alongside its existing capabilities for petroleum products. The multi-functional facility in Tallinn, in combination with the chemical terminal in Kotka (Finland) enables Oiltanking to offer the chemical market two alternative logistic and export routes for bulk and specialty chemicals from Russia and the former Soviet Union.

The Tallinn terminal provides truck and ISO tank-loading infrastructure for the local and regional distribution of chemicals. For transit customers it offers excellent connectivity with a highly efficient railway infrastructure, and jetties with optimal deep sea water access. The Tallinn port is usually ice-free year-round and is located in the customs Free Zone of Muuga Port.
