Oiltanking Acquires Shell Depot at Copenhagen Airport, Denmark

Oiltanking Copenhagen A/S acquires the former Shell terminal on the island of Prøvestenen in Copenhagen. The acquisition of the terminal, with pipeline connectivity to the Copenhagen Airport supply system, further enhances Oiltanking Copenhagen’s position as a leading provider of jet fuel storage capacity at the airport. The new pipeline connection gives Oiltanking Copenhagen more than one direct supply route to the Copenhagen Airport system, creating a much-needed redundancy option. As the terminal has been out of service for a number of years, it will have to be upgraded before it can be taken back into service.
