Oiltanking Sells 45% of Shares in Helios Terminal, Singapore

Oiltanking sells 45% of its shares in the Helios Terminal Corporation to Macquarie Capital. Upon acquiring the Helios terminal in 2012, Oiltanking already plans to jointly operate the terminal with a long-term partner in the future. Oiltanking believed that Macquarie Capital’s investment focus and financial market capabilities make it an ideal partner in this venture.

Helios on Jurong Island is a built-for-purpose fuel oil storage and blending facility. The storage has a total capacity of 503,000 cbm, distributed to 18 tanks.
