Expansion at Oiltanking Stolthaven

Chemicals

Due to the increasing demand for tank storage in the ARA region and a visible shift of the chemical production and storage from Rotterdam towards Antwerp, Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp decided to expand by another 50,000 cbm of chemical storage capacity. The 21 state-of-the-art-tanks (mild steel and stainless steel), ranging between 1,500 cbm and 3,000 cbm, has been commissioned during 2007. These new tanks will enable the terminal to handle almost any product according to the latest safety and environmental standards. All tanks will have dedicated product lines to the jetties and to the new combined truck and railcar loading racks. As a result, Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp will further increase its present ability to provide you with tailor made services and creative logistic solutions.

Petroleum

During Q1 2007 Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp started the construction of 399,000 cbm of petroleum storage made up of 43,000 cbm and 24,500 cbm size tanks. All this will give Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp the competitive advantage to serve clients that look for creative and excellent storage solutions. This project is expected to be onstream by Q4 2008.
