Indonesia’s first independent oil terminal ready November 1, 2008

31.10.2007 - Jakarta: The Oiltanking Group announces that its storage terminal for petroleum products and gases at Merak, West Java, will be operational one year from today. Both main contractors, PT Rotary Engineering Indonesia and PT McConnell Dowell Indonesia, have started the construction of the facility’s tanks, pipelines, jetties and truck loading bays.

This agreement is retroactive to the 1st of January 2006 and is subject regulatory approval.

Indian Oiltanking, Skytanking and Indian Oil are awarded the aviation fuel facility consession for the new Bangalore international Airport

03.03.2006 - Hamburg: Oiltanking GmbH announced that Indian Oiltanking (IOT), a 50:50 joint venture between Oiltanking GmbH and Indian Oil Corporation, has been awarded the aviation fuel concession for the new Bangalore International Airport, which is due to open in 2008. IOT, in a consortium with Skytanking and Indian Oil Corporation, beat four other bidders to secure the 20-year concession to design, finance, construct and operate the aviation fuel storage and hydrant system at the airport. Each of the consortium members will take a one third share in the venture.
