Oiltanking Amsterdam continues its capacity expansion program with 150,000 cbm

Oiltanking GmbH announces that Oiltanking Amsterdam has signed long term agreements with its customers. Based on these contracts the storage capacity will be extended with another 150,000 cbm
The new tanks will further strengthen the market position of Oiltanking Amsterdam as the preferred gasoline blending platform in the ARA region.
By the end of 2006 Oiltanking will operate in Amsterdam a capacity of 1.3 million cbm. The latest 150,000 cbm in combination with the various earlier announced expansions will bring the total capacity of Oiltanking Amsterdam close to 1.6 million cbm towards the end of 2007.
As the demand outlook for Gasoline storage and related blending operations will remain strong, an additional expansion of 200,000 cbm is currently under study. Oiltanking Amsterdam therefore expects to exceed its capacity over the next years to well over 1.6 million cbm.
In addition to the above tank capacity expansion, Oiltanking Amsterdam will construct a new 2-berths jetty with a draft alongside of 15.5 meters allowing for seagoing vessels. The new berths will further enhance the turnaround rate of the vessels and will, in combination with three newly completed barge docks, increase the total number of berths for seagoing vessels and barges at Oiltanking Amsterdam to 18.
