Oiltanking starts feasibility study for new storage terminal in Jebel Ali, Dubai

The Oiltanking Group announces that via its joint venture company Star Energy Oiltanking (SEOT) it has started a joint feasibility study for the construction of a new petroleum storage terminal in Jebel Ali - Dubai together with the Dubai Multi Commodities Center Authority (DMCC) and Tropicana Trading DMCC.
The terminal shall be located in the Technopark Freezone in between the Jebel Ali Port and the new upcoming Al Maktoum International Airport.
The scope of the joint feasibility study includes the construction of over 500,000 CBM storage capacity for petroleum products, two new dedicated jetties catering for vessels up to 17 meters draft within the port of Jebel Ali and several pipelines connecting the jetties with the terminal.
SEOT shall be the majority shareholder and operating partner in the planned joint venture with Dubai Multi Commodity Center and Tropicana Trading DMCC.
SEOT is a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi based Star Energy Group and Oiltanking GmbH. At present SEOT owns and operates already an oil storage terminal within Jebel Ali Port with a capacity of over 800,000 CBM.
