OT expands into China

  • Oiltanking builds a new chemical terminal in Daya Bay, People’s Republic of China.

Joint venture in Antwerp

  • Oiltanking Antwerp becomes a 50/50 Oiltanking/Stolthaven joint venture, named Oiltanking Stolthaven Antwerp NV, an independent liquid-storage facility. The terminal organization remains unchanged.

  • Oiltanking expands its terminal in Texas City with an additional 100,000 cbm (630,000 barrels) of capacity. The new tanks are suited for the storage of naphtha, aromatics, ethanol, and gasoline.

  • Oiltanking signs a storage agreement with international trader Gunvor.

  • Oiltanking Malta announces the addition of 90,000 cbm for petroleum storage, plus a new berth.
